Joanne Tomlinson worked for me in the capacity of Interim Finance Manager since September 2010, having been contracted to manage the Transitional Service Agreement relating to the sale of one of Northern Foods’ businesses, with a turnover of c £20m, in august last year.
Jo was responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable, General Ledger transactions and novation agreements in connection with a high volume of transactions to be split between the two legal entities. She managed the relationship between the two parties and provided direction to the financial accounting ream, to ensure the legitimacy of liabilities. At month end, Jo had full responsibility for the P & L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, to ensure the successful close down of the ledgers. Jo managed the novation process to a successful conclusion.
