Payroll Specialist
We are a friendly team. Working out of modern offices on the outskirts of Leeds, we have onsite parking, so you won’t have to worry about rush hour traffic or extortionate parking charges.
We are flexible about working arrangements with cloud-based software and laptops as standard and no expectation that you will need to work
longer than your contracted hours.
Due to continued growth and exciting plans, we are looking to add a full-time Payroll/Accounts Assistant to our sociable team.

What we are looking for:
This role is to provide payroll services for over a hundred clients and provide
support to the accountants. Our clients are private individuals, sole traders,
small/medium limited companies, partnerships, LLP’s, CIC’s or public sector
support to the accountants. Our clients are private individuals, sole traders,
small/medium limited companies, partnerships, LLP’s, CIC’s or public sector
organisations.
This role is varied and includes both payroll and bookkeeping.
You will be required to deliver work across a portfolio of clients, working with
the team to ensure the highest possible standards of client service, always.
Typically getting involved in:
∙ Process weekly/monthly payroll for a range of clients
∙ Liaising with clients to deal with any queries
∙ Maintain and update all records, computerised or manual
∙ Bookkeeping
Are you:
∙ Acute attention to detail.
∙ Good analytical thinking and problem solver
∙ A team player
∙ Commercially aware
∙ Study support is available
Do you have:
∙ Minimum of 2 years payroll experience
∙ Brightpay payroll software experience is ideal, but not essential
∙ Well-developed people skills to relate to clients and colleagues
∙ Very good organisational and time management skills
∙ Acute attention to detail
∙ Competent understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel
∙ Good analytical thinking and problem solver
∙ Understands Data Protection
