I have worked in accounting practices for over 35 years, gaining invaluable experience in the profession which I am now able to utilise fully at Business Works.
After leaving school at the age of 17 my first job role was as a trainee accountant, within a practice in Leeds, where I started my studies towards the AAT qualification. From there, I have progressed through the ranks at further small and medium sized accountancy practices in the West Yorkshire region. In that time,
Outside of work I enjoy visiting The North Yorkshire Moors and Coast with my wife, Jane, and our happy go lucky sproodle, Toby. I am also constantly updating and adding to my ever-expanding vinyl collection and can spend hours trawling the record fairs looking for a bargain – my wife is very patient!
