A qualified Certified Accountant, I am also a certified QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor and Making Tax Digital ProAdvisor. I am considered the technical expert in all things QuickBooks.
After completing my accountancy degree at Huddersfield, I joined a small accountancy practice and began studying towards my professional qualification, whilst learning how to put accounts together and audit company records. After a change of firm, I qualified as a Certified Accountant and decided to ‘change sides’ and go to work for a client as their in-house accountant.
In 2013 I decided that I wanted to spend less time commuting and more time with my young family and came to work for Business Works.
Away from work, I enjoy running and Yoga when I’m not Mum’s taxi, which usually involves taking my daughter to gym or the ice rink or my son to football training. I also like a get together with friends, which usually involves a G&T or two.
