PRACTICE ACCOUNTANT VACANCY
THE ROLE
As an Accountant you will provide professional financial advice to fee paying clients ranging from private individuals to SME’s, LLPs or public sector organisations. Your other responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing figures and making recommendations based on this – ultimately aiming to maximise profitability of clients
• Getting involved in all aspects of preparing statutory accounts
• Preparing and reviewing trading accounts, VAT returns, Corporation tax returns and Personal tax returns
• Managing and running monthly and weekly payroll for clients
• Preparing, managing and completing Auto Enrolment submissions
• Delivering work across a portfolio of clients, working with a team of staff to ensure the highest possible standards of client service at all times
• Advising on tax planning
• Overseeing bookkeeping tasks of junior colleagues and trainees
• Meeting new clients to ensure smooth sign up process
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• ACA or ACCA qualification with 2 years practice experience
• Understands Data Protection
• Sage, QuickBooks, Digita and payroll software experience highly desired
• Competent understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel
• Well-developed people skills to relate to clients and colleagues
• Very good organisational and time management skills
• Very good analytical thinking and problem solver
• Acute attention to detail
• ACA or ACCA qualification with 2 years practice experience
• Understands Data Protection
